We’re sorry it seems like we’ve been on hiatus but the truth is actually the contrary. We’ve been busy monkeys…

We moved to London January 20th, picked up our bags from good old Gatwick Airport and then stayed a night at Antony’s place (Mr. Manager) before we moved into our homely little apartment in central London. I guess you could say The Dandies are London boys now. Writing these words just seems weird even though it’s more than two months ago since we moved over here…

Everything kicked off amazingly and from a live point of view it couldn’t have started better than that first show of the year at Proud Galleries. Thanks again to all of you who came down to support us and have continued supporting us throughout all our London shows! We honestly feel so blessed having you beautiful people at our shows! YOU are making this all possible for us! Keep it up please!

Anywho, sorry to go all emotional on y’all right there… On to the next one! Other than playing shows and partying with you we’ve been really busy dudes. We shot the sexy little video for „Battle Cry“ which is going to be our first release. The video should be online and ready to like or hate really soon now. The single „Battle Cry“ will be available worldwide on itunes on May 15th, with Bootstraps being the B-sice. We will also be selling a special 7’’ of said single in select shops and on tour.

Speaking of Tours… this is where we get really really excited! We are the Tour Support for nobody less than the Meat Puppets on travels through Europe. Holy Cow can we not wait. The whole things kicks off May 16th in Dusseldorf in Germany and ends May 31st in Dublin, Ireland. To see where else we’ll be sharing a stage with the mighty Meat Puppets check our Tour dates on our website. May 31st isn’t the end of our live shows though. Right after we set off on our own tour which starts with a 9 day UK and Ireland Tour on June 1st.

We’ll be playing the rest of Europe all through the summer too. Again, stay posted on our Live section on the site. We also will be playing some festivals but I’ll save that info for another message and let you know as soon as it’s all sealed and done and ready for The Dandies.

So you guys feel all up to date? We are really living London, you all have been great to us. We’re still here a few more weeks so if your in town come have a drink with us. If you’re in town come down to our favourite new bar called Heroes in Camden, it’s run by good friends of ours. You’re pretty likely to find us there! If not we’ll see you all in Europe this summer somehwere on the tour. And for all you back home stateside I’m sure we’ll be over pretty damn soon! Or so I hope.
